at Holy Trinity
Lutheran Church
ORIENTATION SESSIONS
Would you like to get more connected to God and
to a community of faith? How can participating in a congregation
can deepen your spiritual life? Learn a few new and interesting things
about Lutheranism,the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)
and Holy Trinity! Come and meet the pastor and others in similar
situations to yours.And if you're interested, find out ways you
can connect with others, volunteer, or get involved. Orientation
sessions are offered three times a year. Please sign-up at worship or call the church
office (773.248.1233) to register.
SPRING:
Thursday, April 24, 7:00 pm - New Member Orentation Session
Thursday, May 1, 7:00 pm - Luteranism Forum
Sunday, May 4, 10:30 am - Reception of New Members
FALL:
Thursday, October 23, 7:00 pm - New Member Orentation Session
Thursday, October 30, 7:00 pm - Luteranism Forum
Sunday, November 9, 10:30 am - Reception of New Members
IF YOU ARE NOT BAPTIZED
please speak to the pastor
about the spiritual process that leads to adult baptism.
The process usually lasts up to a year and involves
a small group discussion of Christian beliefs, pracices and spirituality.
TRANSFER OF MEMBERSHIP
If you choose to join Holy Trinity,
and are a member of another congregation, you are asked
to notify that congregation and inform them you are
requesting a letter of transfer to:
