Holy Trinity reflects the vibrant, progressive and diverse Lakeview neighborhood. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey or comfort with organized religion you are welcome at Holy Trinity, whether you attend every Sunday or several times a year, whether you become a member or not.
More than half of the congregation is made up of young adults, reflecting the Lakeview community. The presence of LGBT (lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgendered) people reveals Holy Trinity’s commitment to social justice and inclusivity since the early 1990s. In addition there are growing numbers of families with small children.
Holy Trinity has a strong connection with the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and several seminarians are assigned to our congregation each academic year.
